Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 October 2026
The short version
- You must be at least 16 and authorised to use the accounts and business data you connect.
- Keep your account secure. You are responsible for your messages, team members and assistant settings, including automatic replies.
- Messenger rules still apply. WhatsApp uses an unofficial connection; Telegram and Discord use different API connections. Access can be restricted or banned, and we cannot prevent or reverse that.
- AI can make mistakes. Check its work and obtain the permissions needed to process other people's information.
- Free includes one connection per supported messenger. Plus and Pro are coming soon. Paid subscriptions will renew automatically through Creem until cancelled. No refunds, except where the law requires them.
- Your content remains yours. Our permission to process it is limited to providing the service. Read the Privacy Policy.
- The service comes without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. The liability limits below apply only to the extent allowed by law.
This summary is a guide. The full terms below govern your use of Texterry.

1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Innolope LLC, Texterry's operator. "We", "us" and "our" mean Innolope LLC. "Texterry" or the "service" means our Mac app and its supporting services. These terms cover personal use, Business mode, guest accounts and paid plans.
By creating an account, connecting a messenger or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The Privacy Policy explains personal-information handling. Creem purchases also involve its checkout terms.
You must be 16 or older and meet any higher minimum age imposed by the law where you live or by a connected platform. You must be able to enter this agreement lawfully. If you have not reached the legal age to enter it yourself, a parent or legal guardian must agree on your behalf where the law permits this. Their agreement does not allow someone under 16 to use Texterry.
If you use Texterry for a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these terms and to connect its accounts and data. In that case, "you" includes that organisation. You must explain the relevant obligations to the people you authorise to use the service.
2. The service and your app licence
Texterry brings Telegram, WhatsApp and Discord conversations into one inbox. It includes an optional AI assistant and voice dictation. Business mode adds CRM tools and a shared team inbox, subject to the applicable plan. The connection method and available features differ between messengers, as explained below.
Subject to compliance with these terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install and use the app personally or for your organisation's internal business. Access must stay within your plan and permissions. The licence does not transfer ownership or authorise a competing hosted service using our software.
You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app or access to the service without our permission. Do not remove ownership notices, copy protected elements to build a competing product, or modify, decompile or reverse engineer the app except where applicable law or a separate software licence expressly permits it. Open-source components remain subject to their own licences; these terms do not reduce rights granted by those licences.
The app is distributed as a Mac download, with separate builds for Apple silicon and Intel. The advertised minimum is macOS 12 Monterey. Use the official Texterry download links and keep your Mac and app reasonably up to date. We may release updates for security, compatibility or features, and continued access may require a newer release. These terms do not promise automatic installation of updates or indefinite support for older releases.
3. Accounts and security
Texterry starts with a guest account, so you can begin without first adding an email address. You can add an email later for sign-in and recovery on another computer. Email sign-in uses a link sent to your inbox. Guest use is still use under these terms; it does not remove your responsibilities.
Give accurate information when you provide account or billing details, and keep your email address current. Protect your Mac, email inbox, sign-in links, messenger sessions and integration credentials. Do not share sign-in links or let someone else use your personal login as a substitute for an authorised team seat. Use the security controls available from your email provider, operating system and connected messengers.
You are responsible for your actions and authorised users. Report suspected unauthorised access promptly and use the messenger's controls to revoke compromised sessions. We may need to verify your authority before helping. Recovery may be difficult if you lose a guest account's device or control of the linked email.
Connect only accounts you own or may administer. Withdraw unnecessary access and remove departing staff through team controls. We cannot guarantee recovery of provider-controlled accounts.
4. Connecting third-party messengers
Connecting a messenger authorises Texterry to access the account or server within the permissions you grant, retrieve conversations and carry out supported actions you request. This includes sending messages and, if you enable a reply mode, sending assistant-generated replies automatically. Only connect accounts and servers you are entitled to use, and obtain permission from their owners and other relevant people.
Telegram
Texterry connects through Telegram's client API using the GramJS library and an authenticated user session. This is a connection to your Telegram account, rather than Telegram's Bot API. Messages sent through that session are sent from the connected account. Telegram permits third-party clients subject to its API Terms of Service; API access does not amount to approval of every feature or use.
You must follow Telegram's terms, including its rules on spam and its content licensing and AI restrictions. Those restrictions cover uses of platform data for AI and describe limited consent-based exceptions. Do not enable AI processing of Telegram content unless your use meets those requirements. Your own opt-in does not establish the consent of everyone whose content is involved. Telegram may restrict accounts or discontinue API access for violations.
Texterry connects through Baileys, an unofficial open-source library using WhatsApp's linked-device protocol. You link your WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app account by scanning a QR code. This is not the WhatsApp Business Platform or Cloud API. WhatsApp does not endorse this client connection.
WhatsApp's terms restrict unauthorised access and impermissible automated or bulk messaging. An unofficial client can put your account at risk, even if your intentions are legitimate. WhatsApp may disconnect, restrict or permanently ban an account. Ordinary conversation does not eliminate that risk. Do not connect a number you cannot afford to lose, and do not use Texterry for mass messaging.
Discord
Texterry uses Discord's official bot API through discord.js. Authorisation installs the Texterry app into a selected server; the service uses a bot token and sends replies through channel webhooks. Replies use a display name marked with Texterry. This does not automate your normal Discord user token, send as your personal user account or provide a personal direct-message inbox.
Server permissions govern which channels the connection can access. You must have the server owner's authorisation to install it, or obtain that authorisation through the owner-invite flow. Follow Discord's terms and server rules. Discord prohibits self-bots; do not attempt to turn this integration into one. Official API access still remains subject to Discord's policies and enforcement.
Telegram, WhatsApp and Discord are independent providers and are not affiliated with or sponsors of Texterry. They may change protocols, permissions, policies or availability. We cannot prevent or reverse bans, restore provider access, or guarantee continued compatibility. Technical access through Texterry is not permission to disregard a provider's rules.
5. Acceptable use
Use Texterry lawfully, respectfully and within the limits of your plan and connected services. You must not use it, or allow someone else to use it, to:
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, deceptive promotions, illegal marketing, phishing messages or fraudulent requests for money or credentials.
- Harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate or discriminate against people, repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop, or coordinate abuse.
- Create, distribute or facilitate unlawful content, exploitation, violence, non-consensual intimate material or violations of privacy, copyright or other rights.
- Exploit or endanger minors, distribute child sexual abuse material, solicit illegal contact with a minor, or enable a person under Texterry's minimum age to use your account.
- Impersonate someone without authority, misrepresent who is sending a message, or use AI to deceive recipients where disclosure is required.
- Scrape or harvest contacts, account identifiers, conversations or platform data without permission; abuse APIs; or collect information for uses prohibited by a platform.
- Access another user's account, workspace or credentials without authorisation, bypass permissions, or use stolen or improperly obtained sessions or tokens.
- Probe, scan, perform penetration testing against, overload or disrupt our systems without our prior written authorisation, or introduce malware or harmful code.
- Circumvent connection limits, seat requirements, rate limits, anti-abuse measures, suspensions or other restrictions, including by creating accounts to evade them.
- Resell, rent or offer unauthorised access to Texterry, pool one person's login across unrelated users, or use our infrastructure to provide an unapproved commercial service.
- Encourage or assist someone else to do any of these things, including by configuring an assistant to carry them out.
Statutory rights to examine software remain subject to applicable law. Contact us before security testing to agree scope and permission. Reporting an issue does not authorise further testing. We may investigate misuse and restrict access as described below.
6. Business outreach, messaging laws and consent
Business mode is a tool for managing conversations; it does not supply legal permission to contact someone. You decide whom to message, why to contact them and what to send. You must have a lawful basis for collecting and processing contact information and obtain consent wherever the applicable law or platform requires it.
Check the rules for your business, recipients, location and channel. These may include the US CAN-SPAM Act for commercial email, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act for covered calls or texts, the GDPR, national ePrivacy laws, and other privacy and anti-spam laws. Applicability varies; compliance with one rule may not be sufficient.
Record permissions, identify yourself and provide required privacy information. Honour objections and opt-outs promptly, meet legal deadlines, and stop contact when permission is withdrawn. Do not import bought, scraped or otherwise unauthorised contact lists.
Follow applicable platform business-messaging policies, including WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy. A lawful marketing message may still be prohibited by a platform, and a platform-approved interaction may still require legal consent. You are responsible for your staff, contractors and assistants following both sets of rules. Texterry's features do not certify your compliance or replace legal advice.
7. Your content and our limited permission
You retain your rights in the messages, contacts, CRM records, instructions and other content you bring to Texterry. Other people's content remains subject to their rights. Access to a conversation does not give you ownership of every participant's information or unlimited rights to reuse it.
You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to receive, store, copy, process, transmit and display your content only as needed to provide the service, carry out your instructions and operate the features you use. For example, this covers keeping the inbox in sync, displaying shared workspace records, exchanging data with a connected CRM, and processing content for the AI features described below. Service providers may process it for those purposes as explained in the Privacy Policy.
This permission does not transfer ownership or give us a general right to publish or sell your conversations. You must have the rights, permissions and lawful basis needed to provide the content and instruct this processing. Do not upload or connect information if doing so violates a duty of confidentiality, another person's rights or a platform restriction.
You are responsible for content you send, import or share. Check the workspace and recipients before sharing information, and maintain independent copies of important records.
8. AI features and automatic replies
Texterry's AI assistant uses Google's Gemini API for features such as digests, summaries, drafts and replies. Assistant settings include off, read and digest, reply as you, and reply openly as your assistant. A chat can have its own setting or inherit a default, so review both before enabling automation.
Read and digest mode processes conversation content without automatically replying. Reply modes can generate and send messages without you approving each message. On Telegram and WhatsApp, those messages are sent through your connected account; Discord replies retain the integration identity explained above. An assistant persona changes how a reply introduces itself, not the provider identity through which it is delivered.
You authorise automatic replies by choosing the settings that enable them. You remain responsible for messages sent under those settings, including incorrect, inappropriate or unintended replies. Check the relevant conversations, recipients and instructions before turning a reply mode on, monitor its use, and stop automation if you cannot supervise it appropriately. Do not authorise it to make commitments you are not willing or entitled to make.
Voice dictation produces an editable draft for you to review before sending. Supported voice messages can also be transcribed using Gemini. Voice-message transcription is a separate processing path and can run even when the conversation's assistant mode is off. Do not treat that mode alone as a control that disables all audio processing.
AI can misunderstand context, invent facts, omit important details or produce biased or unsuitable language. Review outputs before relying on them, especially for customer commitments, sensitive decisions or information about people. Outputs are not professional medical, legal, financial or other advice and are not guaranteed accurate, complete or unique. Other users may receive similar outputs.
Obtain necessary permissions to submit conversation content for AI processing and provide any disclosures about AI or automated messages required by law or platform rules. Choosing an assistant mode does not satisfy those obligations. Do not use AI to circumvent messaging restrictions, impersonate people unlawfully or make decisions that require qualified human judgement.
9. Business mode, teams and CRM
Business mode provides tools for clients, pipeline, deals, tasks, analytics and shared conversations. Pro is the plan for Business mode and team use. Free and Plus do not include those entitlements. Access made available during a rollout or by a separate grant does not change the published plan rules.
A team has an owner and members, with administrative permissions for relevant functions. The owner controls team invitations and member removal and purchases the team's Pro subscription. Treat invitations as grants of access to business information. Invite only authorised people, use the correct email address and obtain any necessary internal approvals. The email invitation flow requires the person to have a Texterry account already.
Owners and administrators must manage access responsibly, explain shared records and withdraw unnecessary access. A workspace is not each member's private storage. Shared records may be accessible to authorised members and remain with the team after someone leaves.
Removing a member does not delete the team's work. The service retains team records and supports handing over the departing member's work; the owner should review assignments and select a successor where appropriate. The owner must separately manage purchased seats. Removing someone from a team does not itself cancel a subscription or reduce its purchased quantity.
Team data exports include CSV files for clients, deals and tasks, and a JSON archive of stored records that can include stored conversation messages. Export permissions apply; the owner has export controls in Settings. An export is not a guarantee that every historical platform message, attachment or external-system record is available. Check downloaded files before relying on them.
CRM integrations include HubSpot, Pipedrive, Attio, Zoho and Freshsales. Connecting one authorises the exchange of supported records within the permissions granted. Check mappings and synchronised changes, and maintain appropriate copies. Integrations and CRM accounts are subject to their providers' terms. Texterry does not grant you a subscription to those products or settle disputes about who owns workplace data.
10. Plans, billing and cancellation
Plans and seats
Free includes one Telegram connection, one WhatsApp connection and one Discord connection, with the personal inbox features described on our website. For Discord, a connection represents a selected server, rather than a personal user account. Free does not require a payment card and does not become paid merely because a paid plan launches.
Plus and Pro are coming soon. Plus is the individual plan for up to three accounts per supported messenger. Pro provides Business mode, unlimited messenger-account entitlements and team access within the number of purchased seats. "Unlimited" does not override platform limits, technical constraints or the acceptable-use rules.
The advertised Plus prices are US$4.99 monthly or US$49 yearly. Pro is advertised at US$25 per seat monthly or US$250 per seat yearly. The team owner buys a seat for each teammate, including themselves. Review the actual price, period, seat quantity and tax treatment shown at checkout before purchasing. A coming-soon description does not promise a launch date or create a paid subscription.
Creem, payment and taxes
Paid subscriptions will be sold through Creem as merchant of record. Creem handles payment processing, applicable transaction taxes and invoices under the terms presented at checkout. Texterry supplies the service. You must use a payment method you are entitled to use and provide accurate billing and tax information. Any tax not included in a displayed price must be identified through the purchase process as required by law.
By purchasing, you authorise recurring charges for the chosen subscription and seat quantity. Subscriptions renew automatically for the applicable monthly or yearly period until cancelled. Keep payment details current. A failed or disputed payment can affect paid access, subject to applicable law and the status of your subscription.
The owner can purchase additional Pro seats. Seat changes through our billing integration use immediate proration through Creem, so adding seats can produce a charge for the remaining billing period. Check the billing information before requesting a change. Removing members does not automatically change the subscription's seat count.
Cancellation, refunds and changes
You can cancel renewal at any time through the subscription-management process, including Creem's customer portal where available. Contact us if you cannot access that process. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid access continues until the end of the paid period, subject to suspension or termination under these terms. Uninstalling the app, disconnecting a messenger or deleting an account is not a subscription-cancellation request. Cancel renewal separately before deleting an account.
No refunds. Payments are non-refundable, including partially used periods, unused seats and cancellation after renewal, except where the law requires otherwise. This does not limit mandatory cancellation, withdrawal or refund rights. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us or Creem with the relevant receipt.
We may change prices with reasonable notice before the renewal to which the change applies, meeting any longer legal minimum. You can cancel before that renewal if you do not accept the price. We will not charge you for moving from Free to a paid plan without your choice to purchase. No per-message fees or contact limits are part of the advertised plans.
A downgrade or expiry changes your entitlements. Existing connections may remain, while new connections or invitations can be refused when they exceed the applicable limits. Do not rely on temporary access beyond your plan. You retain the right to dispute a charge through lawful channels; fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may lead to investigation or suspension. These terms do not impose a chargeback fee.
11. Third-party services and integrations
Texterry depends on and can connect to services operated by other organisations, including messengers, Google Gemini, CRM providers and Creem. Their terms, privacy practices, permissions and availability are separate from ours. Review them before authorising access or purchasing a service from them.
You are responsible for maintaining the third-party accounts and permissions needed for your chosen features. A provider can change or withdraw access, require reauthorisation, remove an integration or impose limits. Disconnecting an integration from Texterry does not necessarily delete records already sent to that provider or cancel its subscription.
We do not control third-party decisions or performance, promise every official-app feature, or guarantee indefinite compatibility. Our own legal obligations remain applicable when another provider is involved.
12. Intellectual property and feedback
Texterry's software, design, branding and other materials belong to us or their respective licensors, subject to the rights in your content described above. Except for the limited app licence and rights required by law or separate licences, no intellectual-property rights are transferred to you.
Third-party names and marks belong to their owners. Integration listings do not imply endorsement. Do not suggest a partnership through our branding without permission.
If you voluntarily send suggestions or product feedback, you permit us to use those ideas to improve the service without owing compensation or attribution. This permission is non-exclusive and royalty-free. Do not submit someone else's confidential information as feedback. Feedback permission does not expand our limited permission to process your private messages or CRM records.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains the information we process, why we process it, the providers involved and how to contact us about privacy rights. Read it before connecting accounts, enabling AI or sharing business records. These terms do not replace that explanation or any rights you have under privacy law.
Organisations must give lawful instructions and appropriate privacy information to affected people. Accepting these terms does not supply a lawful basis for every data use. Shared-record requests may involve both the team's rights and your own.
14. Availability, beta features and changes
We work to keep Texterry available without guaranteeing uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, network failures, security incidents and provider changes can interrupt access. Messaging, synchronisation and exports can fail or be delayed. Verify important actions rather than assuming completion.
Beta, experimental, preview or coming-soon features may be incomplete, change or never launch. Consider that before depending on them for critical work. Roadmaps do not promise delivery dates.
We may add, change or discontinue features or the service. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes to paid plans where practicable, and any notice or remedy required by law. Urgent security, legal or provider issues may require quicker action. No uptime commitment, response-time guarantee or service-level agreement is created by these terms.
Maintain independent records of important communications and business data. Texterry is not an emergency communications service. Do not rely on it as your only way to contact emergency services or deliver a time-critical notice.
15. Suspension, termination and deletion
You may stop using Texterry at any time, disconnect a messenger or request account deletion through Settings. If you have a paid subscription, cancel its renewal separately. Leaving a workspace or deleting an account does not cancel a subscription purchased by the team owner.
Account deletion removes your Texterry account, messenger connections and personal inbox and assistant data through the deletion process. A team you own alone and its stored records are deleted with the account. If you are a member of a team shared with others, its records remain with the team and your work is handed over to its owner. Files saved on your Mac remain until you remove them.
If you own a team with other members, account deletion is blocked until you remove them. The current flow does not transfer ownership. Review the consequences, export appropriate records and arrange continuity first. Removal affects members' access.
Deleting Texterry data does not recall messages already delivered, erase recipients' copies or remove records held independently by a messenger, CRM or billing provider. Retention required by law and the handling of privacy requests are governed by applicable law and the Privacy Policy. These terms do not promise that every copy in every system disappears immediately.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, use the service unlawfully, create a security or abuse risk, lack required third-party permissions, or fail to pay amounts properly due for a subscription. We may also act where required by law or a provider. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and allow you to address it; urgent protection or legal restrictions may prevent advance notice.
After termination, your permission to use the service ends. We do not promise continuing access to account data or exports after closure, so obtain authorised copies beforehand. Termination does not automatically entitle you to a refund, subject to mandatory law. Accrued payment obligations and the provisions about intellectual property, liability, indemnification, governing law and general terms survive where their purpose requires it.
16. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Texterry is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and warranties arising from a course of dealing or trade practice, except for obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We do not guarantee that the service meets every requirement, prevents every security incident, preserves every record or produces correct AI outputs. Delivery, receipt, synchronisation accuracy and third-party access are not guaranteed.
Decide whether the service suits your needs, review important information and keep independent copies. Support explanations do not create warranties beyond express commitments or applicable law.
Mandatory consumer guarantees and remedies continue to apply. Nothing here excludes a warranty or obligation where doing so would be unlawful.
17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to Texterry or these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for Texterry in the 12 months before the claim arose, including payments for Texterry made through Creem. This is an aggregate limit, regardless of the number of claims or whether a claim is based on contract, negligence or another legal theory.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunities, loss of goodwill, or losses arising from messages lost or delayed by a messenger. This applies even if the possibility of such losses was foreseeable or brought to our attention.
These limits apply, where lawful, to AI outputs, automated messages, provider restrictions and interruptions. They do not promise reimbursement for a ban or incorrect reply.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit, including mandatory consumer rights. If a limitation is unlawful in your circumstances, it applies only to the extent permitted, and the remaining provisions continue to operate.
18. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify Innolope LLC against third-party claims and resulting liabilities, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your unlawful use or misuse of Texterry, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.
This includes claims about your content, unauthorised account connections, unlawful marketing, missing consent, harassment, and messages sent by you or an assistant acting under your settings. For an organisation, it includes misuse by the people it authorises to use its workspace.
We will notify you of a claim for which we seek indemnification and give you a reasonable opportunity to participate in its defence. You must cooperate reasonably and must not agree to a settlement that imposes an obligation on us without our consent. This clause does not require you to indemnify us for our own wrongdoing or impose an obligation prohibited by mandatory law.
19. Governing law and resolving concerns
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If mandatory laws where you live give you protections that cannot be removed by this choice, those protections still apply.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at support@texterry.com with a description of the concern, relevant account or receipt details, and the outcome you seek. We will try to resolve it informally with you. Do not include passwords, sign-in links or messenger tokens.
This informal process does not require you to wait a fixed period, prevent urgent relief, extend a legal deadline or remove your right to bring a claim in a court with jurisdiction. You may also use any complaint or dispute process that applicable law makes available to you.
20. Export controls and sanctions
You must comply with applicable export-control, import-control and economic-sanctions laws when downloading or using Texterry. Do not use or provide access to the service where doing so is prohibited, or act on behalf of a person or organisation whose access would violate those laws.
Check restrictions on your location, organisation and use. Do not evade them through misleading identities, billing addresses or technical workarounds. We may restrict access for legal compliance and do not promise availability in every country.
21. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service, laws or business arrangements change. The revised page will show its last-updated date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the service or the email address associated with your account where available, meeting any notice period required by law.
Changes take effect as stated in the notice or revised terms. Where law requires consent, we will obtain it. Otherwise, continuing to use the service after the changes take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel any renewal before the next billing period.
Changes cannot remove mandatory rights or retrospectively supply required consent. Keep contact details current and review notices.
22. General terms
Entire agreement. These terms and expressly agreed purchase terms replace earlier agreements about the service. The Privacy Policy explains personal-information handling; Creem's terms govern its merchant-of-record role. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.
Severability. If a provision is found unenforceable, it will apply to the extent lawful or be severed as necessary. The rest of the agreement remains effective.
No waiver. A delay or failure to enforce a provision does not waive it. A waiver in one instance does not waive the same right in another instance.
Assignment. You may not transfer this agreement or your right to use the service without our consent. We may transfer the agreement as part of a merger, reorganisation or sale of the relevant business, subject to applicable law and without reducing mandatory protections you have.
Notices. You can send notices to the support email below. We may send notices to your associated email address or through the service where appropriate. Keep that address current. Any form or method of notice required by law takes priority.
Force majeure. To the extent permitted by law, neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as disasters, war, widespread network failures or government action. This does not excuse amounts already properly due or remove mandatory legal duties.
No third-party beneficiaries. This agreement is for you and Innolope LLC. It does not give another person a right to enforce it, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
