The Ritz Theater, Rockville, Indiana, has been the home to the Parke Players theater group since 1971. Built in 1912 as the "New Rockville Opera House", this carefully preserved building hosted Gene Autry, the Yodeling Cowboy, on April 17, 1935. The show included a screening of the 1934 movie, "Sweet Adeline", starring Irene Dunne. Inside the lobby of the Ritz, visitors will find this plaque dedicated to the memory of Tex Terry.

This independent western film set in Missouri in 1887, is currently in production. One of the "heavies" in this movie, is a character named "Ed Earl Terry", played by Tom Drury. Ed Earl is a tribute to Tex Terry and I'm sure the "Bad Man" would be pleased. For more information, read Bill Blewett's letter on the "Tex Terry Club" page or go to: http://www.one-eyedhorse.com
Tom Drury, right, will play the role of "Ed Earl Terry", along with Bob Brown, as "Slim Haden" in "One-Eyed Horse."
The Boss, Ed Earl Terry, played by Tom Drury and me, as Joe Hayes, on the set of "One-Eyed Horse", October 20, 2007.
